 Tasting Room and Wine Shop
Kief-Joshua Vineyards offers a magnificent view of the beautiful mountain ranges of Sonoita and is the perfect setting to taste our acclaimed wines. Upon entering, guests immediately feel the warm Italian Gothic ambiance of this elegant setting in Elgin, Arizona in an area that has become known as “winery row.”
Visitors may taste Kief-Joshua’s Classic Wines at the tasting bar, where new releases such as the Nebbiolo, and favorites such as the Viognier, and Cabernet Franc are available. Or, choose to peruse the Wine Shop for that perfect wine country gift or souvenir.
Public Tastings
Open daily from 11am to 5pm, the Kief-Joshua Tasting Room offers six wines for tasting. The cost of $4 per tasting includes a souvenir glass.
Private Tastings & Tours
Kief-Joshua is proud to present six different choices for a private wine tasting, which delivers the ultimate wine country experience. All tastings will be hosted by Kief Manning, winemaker.
Wine Savvy!
This tasting walks guests through an in-depth tasting of six wines and is tailored to cover any wine-related topics about which participants have always wanted to know. This program provides guests the perfect opportunity to ask Kief specific questions about different aspects of winemaking and styles of wine.
Wine Sense!
Guests can also choose to become familiar with 12 fresh aromas that are present in the different varietals we utilize in winemaking as well as the barrel-aging process. The tastings will test “smell memory.” Guest will familiarize themselves with those scents and then try to identify those aromas, stimulating a fun and open discussion on wine aromas and flavor characteristics.
Simply Food and Wine!
This tasting features a luxurious tasting highlighting Kief-Joshua Vineyards wines, and how they pair with local cuisine.
Wine Mixer!
This program is designed with vacationers and couple or individuals in mind. If you can’t reach the required number of guests, we keep your date in mind and try to group other guests with your party. It will give guests the chance to meet with other wine enthusiasts in a private tasting setting.
Wine Tasting 101!
Want to know how to judge a great wine? This program is designed to teach wine drinkers the proper techniques of wine tasting.
Corporate Wine Bonding!
“Corporate Wine Bonding” is specifically designed to aid businesses wanting to offer their employees the ultimate morale-building experience.
Private Tastings are available by appointment only, Monday through Friday, for six to eight participants. Prices range from $15 to $50 per person. To schedule your private tasting hosted by our winemaker, please email kjvineyards@gmail.com or call Kief Manning at 520-455-5582.
Directions to Kief-Joshua Vineyards
From Highway 10, take Rte 83 to Sonoita. Stay on 83 until you come to Elgin Road (mile marker 23) and turn left. Kief-Joshua Vineyards will be 3.7 miles on your left. We are two doors down from Callaghan Vineyards.
We are open 7 days a week from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tours and Private Tastings are available by appointment..
