Six Sonoita/Elgin vineyards will unite with the Marines Toys for Tots on Nov. 29 & 39, from 10am - 4 pm for a weekend of giving and free wine tasting. Each of the wineries will waive their standard tasting fee to any one over 21 years of age when you bring a new,unwrapped toy to their respective tasting room: Sonoita Vineyards, The Village of Elgin Winery, Wilhelm Family Vineyards, Charron, Canelo Hills and Kief-Joshua. "After fixing the truck, we rode to our final destination 'Kief-Joshua Vineyards.' Here we were lead upstairs to the owners private balcony and had some lunch. I gave Marc a miniature beach bag with a picnic basket inside known to us as 'commitment in a box!' Inside was a heart puzzle that read 'My Only Star' (sentimental to me b/c he proposed to me with stars) covering the canister the ring was in. He put together the puzzle and then opened the canister. His mouth dropped and tears started flying. I kneeled down on one knee (for real), said some mushy stuff and asked him to marry me. He said YES!" |  | | |
